Tell us about your project

  1. About two minutes. Three short steps; only the project type, your name, email and phone are required.
  2. Ian replies, usually within one business day, by phone or email, to talk through the project.
  3. If it is a fit, we set up a site visit and then send a written estimate with the scope spelled out.

Step 1 of 3Your project

What you want to build or change, the rough size, and anything we should know about the site.

Photos or video (optional)

Photos of the space, or a short walk-through video under a minute. They are sent after your request and seen only by JKM Construction. Up to 30 files: photos (JPG, PNG or HEIC, any size) and videos (MP4 or MOV, up to 60 seconds and 100 MB). If an upload fails, reply to our email with the files instead.

Have a newer iPhone or iPad Pro? Add a 3D room scan for room sizes (optional)

Scan the room with a free app such as Polycam, Scaniverse or 3D Scanner App, export it as GLB, glTF or OBJ, and add the file here. We read the room size from it on your phone and Ian sees the 3D model. USDZ files are accepted too, but are not measured automatically. Scan sizes are approximate and depend on the phone and the light; we confirm measurements at the site visit.

Step 2 of 3Where and when

If you have a site in mind. It helps us check zoning and access before the visit.

Older homes can need extra care with lead paint and old wiring. A guess is fine.

A rough range is fine. It tells us whether we are a good fit, and you can change it later.

Step 3 of 3How to reach you

With area code. We call or text to set up the site visit.

We use your details only to answer this request. Spam protection by Cloudflare Turnstile. See our privacy page.

Want a rough number first? The Estimate Desk gives a planning band for 21 kinds of projects. It is a planning band, not a bid.

What happens next

  1. A site visit

We look at the property or the space with you, ask about utilities and access, and talk through scope and budget.

  2. A written estimate

The scope is spelled out, with inclusions, exclusions and allowances, so you can compare it with any other bid.

  3. Permits and a schedule

We map who issues the permit and what it asks for, and build a schedule that shows review time honestly.
